IIT Indore has introduced an AI-based traffic management system, Cellular Vehicle-to-Everything (C-V2X), to improve road safety and reduce congestion. TRAI Chairperson Anil Kumar Lahoti has emphasised the need for resilient AI infrastructure and robust self-regulation to ensure secure, accountable and inclusive deployment of artificial intelligence in India. The National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) has invited bids to develop commercial spaces at the Ghaziabad Namo Bharat Station on the Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut corridor. Nashik's Neo Metro project, envisioned as a modern urban transit system, has remained stalled for nearly eight years despite receiving state-level approval. Kolkata-based Texmaco Rail & Engineering has completed the hydro-mechanical systems for the 2,000 MW Subansiri Lower Hydroelectric Project at the Arunachal Pradesh Assam border. Acting as the sole contractor, the company managed design, manufacture, supply, erection, testing, and commissioning of the systems needed for eight units of 250 MW each. Unit 1 started wet commissioning in late October, while Unit 2 entered commercial operation in December 2025.
