Rajasthan Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma has approved the detailed project-report for Jaipur Metro Phase-2, covering a 42.80-km stretch from Todi Mode to Prahladpura. The INR 12,260 crore project, announced in the 2025-26 state budget, will be executed by Rajasthan Metro Rail Corporation, a new 50:50 joint venture between the state and Central government. The corridor will feature 36 stations, including two underground, and connect key residential, commercial, educational, and industrial hubs such as VKI and Sitapura Industrial Areas. GMR Airports reports deeper loss for Q4 FY25, despite rise in income

GMR Airports Ltd (GAL) reported a widened consolidated loss of INR 253 crore for the final quarter of FY25, compared to INR 168 crore during the same period last year, even as total income rose to INR 2,977 crore. Havells, the anchor-unit, will invest INR 800 crore on a 50-acre plot to manufacture electrical-goods, creating 1,000 jobs in its first-phase. MMRDA to fine metro contractors for labour shortages to speed up project delivery
