Indore is preparing to add 150 electric buses to its public transport network under the central government's PM E-Bus Scheme, which plans a total of 582 buses across several cities. Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus in Mumbai has taken platforms 16 and 17 out of service for 85 days to allow redevelopment work as part of its larger station overhaul. Central Railway has imposed traffic and power blocks from early February until late April to enable foundational strengthening and allied infrastructure improvements under the Rail Land Development Authority (RLDA). During this period, several long-distance trains are being short-terminated at Dadar or Thane. Construction on the Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train corridor has reached another milestone with the completion of a 100 metre steel bridge on the Kalupur-Shahpur stretch in Ahmedabad.
