A five-member team from the Airport Authority of India (AAI) recently visited Srikakulam district to evaluate land for a proposed airport, following Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu's initiative. Led by Deputy General Manager Parvinder, the team inspected potential sites in Mandasa and Vajrapukotturu mandals. Accompanied by local officials, they visited several villages to assess factors like land availability, natural resources, residential areas, and population density. The team also consulted with various departments regarding water resources and mining activities.
