Synopsis

Rajasthan is preparing to present its state Budget for 2026-27, which will be led by Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister Diya Kumari. This will mark her third consecutive Budget, aiming to cover all sectors and promote inclusive development. The state Assembly session began earlier this year with the Governor's inaugural address. Leaders have indicated that the Budget will focus on youth, farmers, women, and general citizens, reflecting the Bhajanlal government's continued emphasis on balanced growth and policies that address the needs of all sections of society.

Jaipur is set to witness the presentation of Rajasthan's state Budget for the 2026-27 fiscal year by Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister Diya Kumari. She will present her third consecutive Budget in the Assembly at 11 am on February 11.


The Budget session of the state Assembly commenced earlier this year with an inaugural address delivered by Governor Haribhau Bagade. According to Deputy Chief Minister Prem Chand Bairwa, the upcoming Budget is expected to be comprehensive, covering all major sectors and aiming for inclusive growth.

BJP state president Madan Rathore highlighted that the Budget would address the needs of youth, farmers, women, and all segments of society. He also mentioned that this would be the third Budget of the Bhajanlal government, emphasizing the overall development of the state while ensuring that it remains relevant and beneficial to common citizens.
