Synopsis

The Delhi Development Authority's Karmayogi Awaas Yojana 2025 witnessed strong demand as nearly 60 per cent of the 684 flats were booked within the first 24 hours of launch. The initial bookings are expected to generate around INR 450 crore in revenue. One BHK units were almost fully sold on the first day, while two BHK flats contributed the most to early revenue. Officials attribute the response to improved infrastructure, upcoming transit links, and the area's growing appeal for government employees. Bookings remain open until the end of March.

The Delhi Development Authority's Karmayogi Awaas Yojana 2025 recorded a strong response during its first day of bookings, with almost 60 per cent of the 684 flats on offer being reserved within 24 hours. Officials noted that this level of early interest could bring in roughly INR 450 crore in revenue. The scheme aims to provide affordable, ready-to-move homes primarily for serving and retired personnel of central and state governments, public sector undertakings, autonomous bodies, and other government organizations.

One BHK flats were almost completely booked on the first day, reflecting high demand for smaller, affordable units. Two BHK flats accounted for the largest share of early revenue, while three BHK units also saw solid bookings. Officials highlighted that the availability of flats across different sizes helped cater to varied needs of government employees and their families.

The popularity of the scheme is supported by Narela's growing residential appeal, driven by better connectivity through GT Karnal Road and the Urban Extension Road II. Plans for a proposed Rithala Narela Kundli Metro Corridor are expected to further improve transport links, making the area more attractive to potential buyers.

In addition to housing, DDA has been transferring land in Narela for institutional projects, including campuses for Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University and Delhi Teachers University, as part of broader efforts to develop the sub-city. All bookings for flats in Pocket 9, Sector A1 to A4 are being managed through DDA's online Awaas Portal. The scheme will remain open for bookings until the end of March.
