B.R. Goyal Infrastructure Ltd has secured a significant assignment from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), valued at INR 86.7 crore. The contract involves collecting user fees and maintaining facilities at the Simliya Fee Plaza at km 409.680 and the Fatehpur Fee Plaza at km 461.290 on the Kota Baran section of National Highway 76, which extends from km 388.263 to km 492.322.
Along with toll fee collection, the contract also requires the company to maintain the nearby toilet blocks and ensure replenishment of consumables, emphasizing commuter convenience and hygiene at both locations. The project will be executed over one year under a Letter of Award issued by NHAI.
The contract was awarded through a competitive electronic tendering process. In a regulatory filing, the company clarified that neither its promoters nor promoter group entities hold any interest in NHAI, confirming that this is not a related party transaction.
B.R. Goyal Infrastructure has prior experience with similar highway service contracts, including previous toll collection assignments on other national highway stretches such as the Paraghat Plaza in Chhattisgarh. These past projects demonstrate the company's operational experience and ongoing engagement in highway operations and maintenance across different regions.
The project not only reinforces the company's presence in highway infrastructure services but also aligns with NHAI's focus on efficient toll management and facility upkeep to improve road user experience. The one year timeline ensures that the company will have to implement operational procedures, staff deployment, and maintenance schedules to meet NHAI's standards efficiently.
