Bollywood actress Kriti Sanon recently acquired a 2,000 sq ft plot at Sol de Alibaug, a premium project by The House of Abhinandan Lodha (HoABL) for around INR 2 crores. The deal was signed on 11th July. Known for its serene environment and proximity to the beach, Sol de Alibaug offers meticulously planned plots that allow homeowners to design their dream escapes. The project is situated just 20 minutes from the Mandwa Jetty, making it easily accessible by ferry. Alibaug offers more than just a beautiful getaway. The area is experiencing a boom in tourism, fueled by festivals and events. This translates to strong investment potential, particularly for short-term vacation rentals. Luxury plots and villas in Alibaug typically generate rental yields of 4-6%, which is higher than other coastal regions in India. Sanon's investment aligns perfectly with her desire for a peaceful escape and a smart financial move.

Cricketers Virat Kholi, Sachin Tendulkar, and Rohit Sharma have also invested in Alibaug's real estate market. The combined investment by Bollywood celebrities alone exceeds INR 50 crore in the past year.
