Jeh Aerospace has entered into a long-term agreement with Liebherr-Aerospace & Transportation SAS to manufacture high-precision landing gear components for commercial aircraft. Production will take place at its Hyderabad facility, marking its integration into a global aerospace supply chain. US-based Jeh Aerospace has signed a long-term agreement with Liebherr-Aerospace & Transportation SAS to manufacture and supply precision landing gear components for narrow-body commercial aircraft programmes. The agreement was formalised during a visit by Liebherr's senior leadership to the Hyderabad plant. The visiting team included officials overseeing procurement and operations, and the interaction focused on aligning production standards, quality benchmarks, and long-term supply expectations. With this deal, Jeh Aerospace becomes part of Liebherr's global supplier network that supports high-volume single-aisle aircraft programmes.
Liebherr's representatives indicated that the company selected Jeh Aerospace after evaluating its manufacturing capabilities, process discipline, and ability to meet strict aerospace standards. They conveyed that the partnership aligns with their requirement for reliable suppliers who can consistently deliver precision components at scale while maintaining quality and timelines.
Landing gear systems are among the most critical components in an aircraft. These parts operate under high stress during take-off and landing and must meet tight tolerances and rigorous certification requirements. Even minor deviations can affect aircraft performance and safety, making supplier reliability a key factor in such contracts. The manufacturing process also involves specialised materials, advanced machining, and strict inspection protocols.
Jeh Aerospace's leadership stated that its selection reflects sustained focus on precision engineering and quality control systems. The company conveyed that it would continue to maintain consistency across production cycles, as aerospace programmes require long-term reliability and adherence to global standards.
The company has delivered more than 200,000 flight-critical components globally without any reported quality issues. This track record played an important role in securing the agreement and building trust with international partners. Over time, Jeh Aerospace has positioned itself as a specialised supplier capable of handling complex aerospace requirements.
This development also reflects a broader shift in the global aerospace sector, where companies are diversifying supply chains and increasingly working with Indian manufacturers.
