Synopsis

Construction has begun on the Crowne Plaza 5-Star Hotel in Amaravati, marking a key step in expanding the city's hospitality infrastructure. Developed by Indrayal Hotels Private Limited and consortium, the hotel will be built on four acres in Shakamuru, featuring 200 rooms and an investment of around INR 300 crore. The project is expected to provide jobs for 500 people. The move reflects APCRDA's ongoing strategy of allocating land and ensuring timely project execution, contributing to the balanced and inclusive development of Amaravati as a modern, well-planned capital city.

The development of Amaravati continues with a focus on balanced growth and infrastructure expansion. The Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (APCRDA) has been actively allocating land to institutions under the Capital Master Plan, ensuring that projects start on schedule and progress according to planned milestones for timely completion.

In line with these efforts, construction for the Crowne Plaza 5-Star Hotel has started at Shakamuru. The project, developed by Indrayal Hotels Private Limited and its consortium, formally commenced with traditional rituals performed by the contractor. APCRDA had earlier allotted four acres of land for this hotel. The facility is planned to include 200 rooms and is being built with an investment of approximately INR 300 crore. The developers have indicated that the hotel will create employment opportunities for about 500 people.

This initiative adds a significant boost to Amaravati's hospitality sector and complements the city's ongoing infrastructure growth. It highlights the capital's emerging status as a modern, well-planned urban center with facilities aimed at attracting business and leisure visitors alike.
