V. Vijaya Ramaraju, IAS, took charge as the Commissioner of APCRDA at the Rayapudi headquarters in Amaravati. The formal ceremony included traditional rituals and the presence of senior officials like Additional Commissioner A. Bhargava Teja and Director Vallabhaneni Srinivasa Rao. After assuming office, he reviewed ongoing capital development works with department heads to assess progress and address pending tasks. His leadership is expected to strengthen administrative oversight, streamline development initiatives, and support the continued growth and infrastructure development of the Amaravati capital region.
V. Vijaya Ramaraju, IAS, assumed the role of Commissioner of the Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (APCRDA) at the Rayapudi headquarters in Amaravati. He performed customary rituals in the Commissioner's Chamber on the 5th floor before formally taking charge. The ceremony was attended by senior APCRDA officials, including A. Bhargava Teja, IAS, Additional Commissioner, Vallabhaneni Srinivasa Rao, Director of Office Management, and other department heads, who greeted and congratulated him on his new appointment.
Following the formal proceedings, Commissioner Ramaraju conducted a review meeting with department heads to evaluate ongoing projects and the overall progress of capital development works under APCRDA. Discussions focused on development milestones, pending tasks, and strategies to ensure smooth execution of the authority's initiatives.
The appointment of Commissioner Ramaraju marks a continuation of administrative efforts to strengthen governance and oversight in the capital region. His experience as an IAS officer is expected to help streamline processes and maintain progress on infrastructure and urban development projects that are crucial for Amaravati's growth.
