Krisala Developers has completed more than 388 digital property registrations as part of a structured registration drive conducted in Pune, with the initiative culminating in the past week and including a single-day execution of 311 agreements at the Krisala Hiranandani Township in North Hinjawadi. The exercise has been recognised by the Indian Book of Records and the Asian Book of Records as the highest number of property registrations conducted by a real estate developer within a defined period.


The single-day milestone was achieved during the initial phase of the drive, after which the company continued registrations over subsequent days, crossing a cumulative total of 388 agreements. The registrations covered residential units across multiple Krisala projects, including phases one and two of the township development in North Hinjawadi.

The execution of the drive was enabled through a fully digital registration process, incorporating electronic know-your-customer (e-KYC) verification, documentation, and agreement execution. According to details provided, each registration was completed within approximately seven to eight minutes, reflecting the increasing use of technology to streamline transaction processes in the real estate sector.

The initiative required coordination with multiple stakeholders, including banking partners, customer relationship teams, and government authorities such as the Inspector General of Registration (IGR) and the Joint District Registrar (JDR). The use of digital systems enabled simultaneous processing of multiple registrations, reducing timelines and improving operational efficiency.

The company indicated that the response to the drive reflects sustained demand for organised residential developments in Pune, particularly in emerging micro-markets such as Hinjawadi, which has seen growth driven by the presence of IT parks and ongoing infrastructure improvements. Buyers are increasingly opting for integrated developments offering amenities, connectivity, and formalised transaction processes.

Krisala Developers has been active in the Pune market for over a decade, with a development portfolio comprising approximately 10.5 million sq ft under construction and more than 2.5 million sq ft completed across residential and commercial projects. The company's recent initiative reflects a broader shift towards digitisation in property transactions, with state governments promoting electronic registration systems to improve transparency and reduce processing time.

The scale of the registration drive highlights the growing adoption of digital platforms in real estate transactions, particularly in markets with strong end-user demand.
