Maharashtra Chief Minister Shri Devendra Fadnavis will inaugurate a new production facility and customer experience centre at Ranje village in Bhor taluka near Pune on April 16. The project has been developed by Chitale Bandhu Mithaiwale, a well-known brand in Indian sweets and savouries.

The new facility, named Ranje Vision Park, has been set up on 25 acres and is part of the company's expansion strategy in domestic and international markets. The project has seen investments of around INR 250 crore so far.

According to the company, the park includes two separate production units for sweets and savouries, with a combined installed capacity of 40 tonnes per day. The facility has been designed to meet global standards in the packaged food segment.

The plant is certified under international food safety frameworks, including FSSC 22000, and complies with standards set by the US Food and Drug Administration and the British Retail Consortium. These certifications ensure adherence to global quality and hygiene norms.

A key feature of the Vision Park is its customer-focused design. The facility will be open to visitors and includes viewing galleries that allow customers to observe the automated production process and hygiene practices followed within the plant.

Chitale Bandhu Mithaiwale, known for its popular Bakarwadi snack, currently offers around 450 products across categories such as sweets, snacks and savouries. The company plans to expand its presence through retail outlets, quick service restaurants and casual dining formats.

At present, its products are available at approximately 1.25 lakh retail touchpoints across 10 major states. The company aims to scale this network to 5 lakh touchpoints over the next three years.

The new facility is expected to support increased production capacity and strengthen the company's distribution and retail expansion plans.
