Synopsis

Superb Realty has partnered with deep-tech firm Praan to install AI-powered air purification systems across more than 1 million sq ft of its developments in Mumbai. The deployment will begin with its commercial project Superb Altura and later extend to upcoming residential and mixed-use developments. The move reflects a growing focus on indoor environmental quality as a factor influencing asset value, occupant productivity and health outcomes. The collaboration also highlights a broader shift in the real estate sector towards integrating technology-driven and wellness-focused solutions into urban developments.

Superb Realty has entered into a partnership with deep-tech company Praan to deploy AI-powered air purifier systems across over 1 million sq ft of its real estate portfolio in Mumbai.

The implementation will start at Superb Altura, the company's commercial development, and will gradually be expanded to its upcoming residential and mixed-use projects across the city, according to a company statement.

The company's Managing Director, Shilpin Tater, stated that indoor environmental quality is increasingly becoming an important and measurable factor in real estate. He indicated that aspects such as air quality are now being considered alongside traditional parameters like location and design, as they directly influence asset value, occupier productivity and long-term health outcomes.

Praan's Founder, Angad Daryani, explained that the company's technology is designed to operate at scale. He added that it enables real-time sensing and response mechanisms, which can significantly improve indoor air quality metrics across different types of environments.

The initiative reflects a broader trend in the real estate sector, where developers are integrating advanced technologies to enhance building performance. In recent years, there has been a growing emphasis on wellness-oriented features such as improved ventilation, air monitoring systems and sustainable building practices, particularly in urban markets like Mumbai where air quality concerns remain high.

With this deployment, Superb Realty is aligning its developments with data-driven solutions that combine real estate with health and climate-focused technologies, indicating a gradual shift in how urban projects are being planned and delivered.
