Returnable plots were distributed to farmers who had contributed land for the development of the Seed Axis Road in Amaravati. The allocation process took place earlier this week at the APCRDA office located in Rayapudi.

A total of 17 returnable plots were allotted through an e-lottery system to 10 farmers from Undavalli village. Of these, 6 plots were residential while 11 were commercial. The selection process was carried out in a transparent manner using an online randomisation method, with farmers present during the proceedings.

Before the final allotment, a trial run was conducted separately for residential and commercial categories. This was followed by the live lottery draw, which determined the final allocation of plots. Farmers who were allotted plots were also issued provisional certificates as part of the process.

Officials present at the programme informed the beneficiaries that they should proceed with completing the registration of their allotted plots without delay. They also indicated that GIS personnel and village surveyors will support farmers in accurately identifying the geographical location of their respective plots. Senior officials, including Director (Planning) B. Suresh Kumar and Special Deputy Collector A.G. Chinnikrishna, along with other representatives from APCRDA, were present during the event.
