US-based healthcare solutions provider TruBridge has established a global capability centre (GCC) in Chennai to expand its technology-enabled revenue cycle management (RCM) operations and strengthen its global delivery network. The centre has been set up in partnership with consulting firm Zinnov and will initially focus on services including accounts receivable management, medical coding, consulting and related RCM support for hospitals. The facility begins operations with an initial workforce of 57 professionals and is expected to scale significantly over the next 12-18 months as capabilities expand. TruBridge, which supports over 1,500 healthcare clients and employs around 3,500 people globally, said the India expansion is aimed at strengthening operational capacity, advancing healthcare technology innovation and improving financial outcomes for healthcare providers. The centre will operate as part of the company's global service network while adhering to established data privacy and compliance standards.
TruBridge, a healthcare solutions company specialising in electronic health record (EHR)-agnostic revenue cycle management (RCM) and technology solutions for community and rural hospitals, has launched a global capability centre (GCC) in Chennai to expand its global delivery operations and strengthen healthcare technology services.
The new centre, established in partnership with consulting firm Zinnov, has been set up to support TruBridge's growing operational requirements in revenue cycle management services. The facility will initially focus on delivering technology-enabled RCM capabilities, including end-to-end support for accounts receivable management, medical coding, consulting services and related operational functions for healthcare providers.
Company officials stated that the Chennai GCC forms part of TruBridge's strategy to expand operational capacity while maintaining service continuity across global markets. The centre will operate under the same privacy, security and compliance frameworks that govern the company's existing international operations.
Merideth Wilson, Financial Health General Manager at TruBridge, indicated that establishing operations in Chennai reflects the company's long-term investment in building capability and accessing skilled healthcare and technology professionals. She stated that India's healthcare services and technology ecosystem provides an environment for developing teams that can support innovation, operational efficiency and continuous process improvements across the company's global network.
The facility has been developed with operational and strategic support from Zinnov, which worked with TruBridge on talent strategy, operating model design and the execution of the India centre. Karthik Padmanabhan, managing partner at Zinnov, stated that revenue cycle management services are increasingly driven by technology and analytics as healthcare providers seek greater accuracy in reimbursement and improved revenue integrity. He noted that the Chennai centre reflects the development of capability hubs designed not only for operational scale but also for measurable financial outcomes.
Officials highlighted that Chennai's established healthcare services ecosystem, availability of professionals with expertise in finance, analytics and medical coding, and its mature delivery infrastructure contributed to the choice of location for the facility.
Dr Darez Ahmed, managing director and chief executive officer of Guidance Tamil Nadu, stated that the establishment of the TruBridge centre reflects Chennai's expanding role as a hub for healthcare services and innovation. He added that the presence of global healthcare technology companies contributes to the broader ecosystem of healthcare providers and technology solutions in the state.
The Chennai GCC has begun operations with an initial workforce of 57 professionals and will function as part of TruBridge's global delivery network. The company indicated that it intends to scale the centre significantly over the next 12 to 18 months as operational capabilities expand across revenue cycle management and healthcare technology functions.
TruBridge currently employs around 3,500 people globally and provides RCM software and services including accounts receivable management, medical coding, staffing, EHR systems and healthcare information solutions. The company serves more than 1,500 healthcare providers, primarily community and rural hospitals.
According to the company, the India expansion forms part of its long-term strategy to strengthen infrastructure, operational capability and process efficiency in the global healthcare revenue cycle management ecosystem.
