During discussions with Civil Aviation Minister K Rammohan Naidu, Reddy urged the Centre to begin work on Mamnoor Airport near Warangal and sought surveys and clearances for airports at Kothagudem, Antaragam and Adilabad. He also met Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and invited him to the foundation ceremony of the Gandhi Sarovar Project under the Musi Rejuvenation initiative. Additionally, he held talks with IT and Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw regarding various state development projects.

Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Thursday held a series of meetings with senior Union Ministers in New Delhi, seeking Central cooperation and approvals for multiple infrastructure projects, including four proposed airports across the state.

In his meeting with Civil Aviation Minister K Rammohan Naidu, the Chief Minister pressed for the commencement of work on the Mamnoor Airport near Warangal. He informed the Minister that land acquisition for the project has already been completed by the state government and requested the Centre to expedite further steps to operationalise the airport. The Mamnoor project is expected to boost regional connectivity and economic development in northern Telangana.

Reddy also requested the Ministry to conduct an Obstacle Limitation Surface (OLS) survey and undertake a feasibility study for the proposed Kothagudem Airport. Land for this project has been identified at Palvancha, and the state government is keen to move forward with technical evaluations and regulatory processes to advance the proposal.

In addition, the Chief Minister sought immediate clearances for an alternate site identified for the Antaragam Airport project. He further conveyed that the Telangana government is prepared to hand over an additional 249.82 acres of land to the Centre for the proposed Adilabad Airport, signalling the state's readiness to facilitate swift implementation.

In a separate engagement, Reddy met Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and invited him to attend the foundation stone laying ceremony of the Gandhi Sarovar Project, scheduled for the last week of February. The Chief Minister explained that the event would take place at the confluence of the Esa and Musi rivers, a site of historical importance where Mahatma Gandhi's ashes were immersed in February 1948.

The Gandhi Sarovar Project forms part of the broader Musi Rejuvenation Project aimed at restoring the river ecosystem and improving urban infrastructure around Hyderabad. According to the Chief Minister, Bapu Ghat will be developed into a world-class centre symbolising education, culture, spirituality and ecological significance.

Reddy also met Union Minister for IT and Railways Ashwini Vaishnaw to discuss various state projects related to technology and railway infrastructure. The meetings underscore Telangana's push to strengthen aviation connectivity, urban rejuvenation and transport infrastructure with support from the Central government.
