IRB Infrastructure recorded a 15 per cent year-on-year increase in toll revenue in January 2026, with collections rising to INR 750 crore compared to INR 650 crore in the same month last year. The reported figures include toll earnings from both IRB InvIT Fund (Public InvIT) and IRB Infrastructure Trust (Private InvIT). Key assets across Maharashtra, Gujarat and Telangana continued to drive revenue growth, reflecting steady traffic momentum across the portfolio. The IRB MP Expressway emerged as the largest contributor, followed by the Ahmedabad-Vadodara Super Express Tollway and the Golconda Expressway on Hyderabad's Outer Ring Road. Management indicated that traffic growth trends remain encouraging and are expected to strengthen further with the commencement of tolling on the TOT-17 project during the month.
IRB Infrastructure posted a 15 per cent year-on-year rise in toll revenue in January 2026, with collections reaching INR 750 crore, up from INR 650 crore in January 2025. The toll revenue figures include earnings generated by IRB InvIT Fund, the group's public infrastructure investment trust, as well as IRB Infrastructure Trust, its private InvIT, as disclosed in a regulatory filing.
The company currently operates 24 toll assets across key highway corridors, with several mature stretches continuing to demonstrate consistent traffic growth. The IRB MP Expressway in Maharashtra remained the largest revenue contributor during the month, generating toll income of INR 162.7 crore, compared to INR 155.2 crore in the corresponding period last year. The asset has historically been one of the strongest performers within IRB's portfolio due to its strategic importance and high traffic volumes.
The Ahmedabad-Vadodara Super Express Tollway emerged as the second-largest contributor, with toll collections increasing to INR 84.4 crore in January 2026 from INR 69.9 crore a year earlier. The growth highlights improving vehicular movement along the corridor, which serves as a key link between two major urban and industrial centres in Gujarat.
The Golconda Expressway, forming part of the Hyderabad Outer Ring Road network, was the third-largest contributor to toll revenues. Collections from the asset stood at INR 77.8 crore during the month, compared to INR 67.8 crore in January 2025, reflecting steady urban traffic growth and higher commercial vehicle movement.
Commenting on the performance, Deputy Chief Executive Officer Amitabh Murarka said the company was encouraged by the year-on-year traffic growth across its toll road portfolio in January 2026. He added that this momentum is expected to strengthen with the commencement of toll collection on the TOT-17 project from January 23, 2026. Early tolling trends on the new asset are reported to be broadly in line with the company's bid assumptions.
IRB Infrastructure remains one of India's largest toll road developers and operators in the highways segment, with a portfolio spanning multiple states and a growing presence through InvIT-led asset monetisation.
