Anant Raj Ltd has entered into a strategic partnership with AI infrastructure provider Submer to develop fully operational, AI-ready data centres across India through its subsidiary, Anant Raj Cloud. Formalised through a memorandum of understanding, the collaboration aims to support large-scale sovereign and enterprise AI workloads by deploying high-density, energy-efficient computing platforms. The partnership will bring Submer's liquid-cooling and modular data centre technologies from Spain, integrated with Anant Raj's existing campus infrastructure in Manesar and Panchkula, Haryana. According to the regulatory filing, the collaboration will focus on the rapid deployment of energy-efficient and scalable computing platforms capable of supporting sovereign and enterprise-level artificial intelligence workloads. The partnership combines Submer's modular data centre architecture, advanced liquid-cooling solutions and prefabricated mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems with Anant Raj's established data centre campuses and operational capabilities in India.
Anant Raj currently operates data centre campuses in Manesar and Panchkula, Haryana, and is in the process of transitioning from conventional colocation and cloud offerings to utility-grade AI infrastructure. The company said this shift is aimed at addressing the rising demand for high-performance computing driven by artificial intelligence, data analytics and next-generation digital services.
Managing Director Amit Sarin said the partnership with Submer and InferX would enable the company to deliver sustainable AI data centre and cloud services at scale, supporting India's broader economic and digital growth objectives. He added that the collaboration would expand access to high-performance computing while strengthening India's AI sovereignty and fostering a scalable domestic ecosystem.
Submer's Chief Executive Officer Patrick Smets said India is at a critical stage of its digital transformation and that the partnership would help bring high-performance AI compute capacity online at speed, while significantly reducing environmental impact through efficient cooling and infrastructure design.
The agreement is scheduled to be formally exchanged at Anant Raj's booth during the India AI Impact Summit 2026.
