Synopsis

Noida International Airport has partnered with Mann Fleet Partners Limited to manage and operate ground transportation services as it moves closer to becoming operational. The agreement covers rental car services, premium kerbside pick-up and drop-off facilities, and bus shuttle operations within the airport and to key nearby locations such as Pari Chowk, Botanical Garden and Greater Noida West. The initiative aims to ensure seamless passenger access before long-term metro and rapid rail links become operational, strengthening the airport's broader multimodal connectivity plan.

Noida International Airport (NIA) has appointed Mann Fleet Partners Limited as its official ground mobility services provider as part of its operational preparedness plan.

Under the agreement announced in the past week, Mann Fleet Partners will design, implement and manage a range of transport solutions at the airport. These include rental car services and premium kerbside pick-up and drop-off facilities at arrival and departure zones. The premium access points are planned to reduce walking distances for passengers and improve overall movement flow within the terminal area.

The company will also operate and maintain bus shuttle services inside the airport campus. In addition, shuttle connectivity will be extended to key regional hubs including Pari Chowk, Botanical Garden and Greater Noida West. More routes are expected to be added in phases depending on passenger demand and traffic patterns.

Airport officials stated that seamless and reliable ground transportation remains a critical component of passenger experience, especially in the initial years of operations. They indicated that large public transport systems such as metro and rapid rail links are likely to take several years to become fully functional. Until then, structured road-based connectivity will play a central role in ensuring smooth access.

This development builds on earlier arrangements signed by the airport with Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation, Delhi Transport Corporation, Haryana Roadways and Uttarakhand Transport Corporation to enable inter-city and regional bus connectivity.

Noida International Airport is being developed under a public-private partnership model by Yamuna International Airport Private Limited, a subsidiary of Zurich Airport International AG. The first phase includes a runway and terminal designed to handle initial passenger traffic, with long-term expansion planned in subsequent phases to increase capacity significantly.

The focus on organised ground transport reflects a broader infrastructure strategy aimed at ensuring operational efficiency from the start while long-term mass transit links are under development.
