Synopsis

IndiGo has moved all its Riyadh flight operations to Terminal 5 at King Khalid International Airport, with the change taking effect earlier this week. The airline informed passengers through a travel advisory and asked them to check flight status and update contact details to receive timely notifications. The shift applies to both arrivals and departures. The move is part of a wider terminal reorganisation at Riyadh airport aimed at streamlining passenger handling and improving operational efficiency for multiple carriers.

IndiGo has shifted its entire Riyadh flight operations to Terminal 5 at King Khalid International Airport. The change came into effect earlier this week and applies to all IndiGo arrivals and departures operating through the Saudi capital.

The airline issued a travel advisory informing passengers about the relocation and advised them to plan their journey keeping the new terminal in mind. It urged travellers to check their flight status before leaving for the airport and ensure that their contact details in the booking remain updated to receive alerts regarding any changes.

The advisory was shared through IndiGo's official communication channels, including social media, where the airline clarified that the shift to Terminal 5 was aimed at ensuring smoother handling of flights and passenger movement at the airport.

Terminal 5 has been witnessing operational adjustments as part of a broader reallocation of airlines across terminals at Riyadh airport. Other international carriers have also been reassigned under this reorganisation process. The move is understood to be aligned with airport-level efforts to manage traffic more efficiently and optimise terminal usage.

IndiGo operates regular services between India and Riyadh, catering to both business and expatriate traffic. With growing passenger volumes between the two countries in recent years, operational clarity at key international airports remains important to avoid inconvenience and last-minute confusion.

Passengers travelling on IndiGo flights to or from Riyadh are therefore required to report to Terminal 5 for check-in, boarding and arrivals formalities going forward.
