Sunteck Realty Limited has strengthened its sustainability standing after achieving a score of 78 out of 100 in the 2025 Corporate Sustainability Assessment carried out by S&P Global for the Real Estate Management and Development industry. The assessment, completed earlier this month, marks a substantial improvement from the company's 2024 score of 59, reflecting a year-on-year increase of 19 points in its ESG performance.

According to the company, the latest score places it well above the industry's average CSA score of 30, reinforcing its position among higher-ranked real estate developers on sustainability parameters. The assessment evaluates companies across a range of environmental, social and governance indicators that are considered financially material to long-term business performance.

Sunteck Realty stated that the most significant contributors to its improved score were climate strategy, human capital management and corporate governance. These areas carry higher weightings under the S&P Global CSA methodology and are regarded as critical to risk management, operational resilience and stakeholder confidence within the real estate sector.

Commenting on the performance, the company's chairman and managing director, Kamal Khetan, said that the score reflected the integration of sustainability into Sunteck Realty's strategic vision and operating framework. He noted that the consistent improvement over the years demonstrated the company's focus on responsible growth, transparency and long-term value creation for stakeholders.

The company said it has made sustained investments in green building practices, resource efficiency and climate risk mitigation measures over recent years. Alongside environmental initiatives, it has also focused on strengthening workplace safety, fostering inclusive employment practices, enhancing employee skill development and supporting community engagement programmes.

Sunteck Realty highlighted that its sustainability approach has been recognised across multiple global ESG benchmarks. During 2025, the company recorded a GRESB score of 99 and received a 5-star rating, significantly exceeding benchmark averages for the sector. In addition, one of its residential projects, 4th Avenue at Sunteck City, received recognition at the International Asia Pacific Property Awards held in the UK for 2024-25 under the Sustainable Residential Development category.

The company said these recognitions collectively underline its ongoing emphasis on developing environmentally responsive assets while aligning business growth with sustainability and governance priorities.
