G R Infraprojects Limited has been awarded a railway infrastructure contract worth INR 1,897.51 crore by West Central Railway for construction works in Madhya Pradesh. The company confirmed that it received the Letter of Acceptance for the project during the past week.

The contract forms part of the Sidhi-Singrauli new rail link project and involves construction of a new railway line between kilometre 124/400 and kilometre 165/380, covering the stretch from Bahari to Gondawali stations. The work will be carried out under the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) model.

As per the contract details, the scope includes extensive earthwork, construction of minor, major and important bridges, viaducts, road overbridges of RCC box type, road underbridges, limited height subways, station buildings and tunnels. Track laying and other associated works required for commissioning the section are also part of the assignment.

The company has stated that the project is to be completed within 900 days from the appointed date. Once executed, the rail link is expected to improve connectivity in the coal-rich Singrauli region, which is an important area for freight movement and power generation logistics.

This order adds to G R Infraprojects existing railway portfolio, where it has been executing EPC contracts for Indian Railways and related authorities. In recent years, the company has steadily increased its exposure to rail infrastructure alongside highways and urban projects, strengthening its position as a diversified infrastructure developer.
