The Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) has extended the registration deadline for 637 residential plots under its Anant Nagar housing scheme by four days, moving the last date to January 16, 2026. The decision was taken following strong public demand as thousands of applicants showed interest in securing plots in the township being developed along Mohan Road. The registration process, conducted entirely online, will conclude on the new extended date, and plot allocation will be carried out through a transparent lottery system. The Anant Nagar scheme features a planned township with wide roads, underground utility infrastructure, large green spaces and an Edutech City concept, positioning it as a key residential opportunity in Lucknow's growing real estate market.
The Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) has announced an extension of the online registration deadline for plots in the Anant Nagar housing scheme, giving aspiring buyers additional time to apply for one of 637 residential plots. Originally scheduled to close on January 12, 2026, the registration window has now been extended to January 16, 2026, in response to strong public interest and demand, LDA Vice-Chairperson Prathamesh Kumar said.
The Anant Nagar scheme, located along Mohan Road in Lucknow, is being developed as a large-scale residential township spanning approximately 785 acres. The project is designed with a grid-based layout, featuring broad roads, underground electrical infrastructure, expansive green belts and planned community amenities. A dedicated Edutech City and over 130 acres of parks and green spaces are also part of the township's master plan, aimed at creating a modern and sustainable living environment.
The current phase of the scheme offers 637 plots across various size categories, ranging from smaller residential options catering to first-time homeowners to larger plots for more spacious living. Interested applicants must complete the registration process online via the LDA portal, which includes logging into the official registration website and paying a registration fee along with an estimated percentage of the plot value. Following the close of registrations, plots will be allotted through a lottery system to ensure transparency and fairness.
Earlier phases of the Anant Nagar scheme attracted significant participation, with more than 22,000 applications received for 666 plots allotted in previous rounds. The extension is expected to allow additional applicants to participate in the lottery draw and enhance overall engagement with the residential programme.
The extended deadline reflects both the popularity of the housing scheme and the LDA's efforts to accommodate a broader pool of prospective plot buyers. With urban demand for planned residential land on the rise, the Anant Nagar scheme has emerged as a notable housing opportunity in Lucknow's expanding real estate landscape.
