Marriott Hotels has announced the opening of the Aravali Marriott Resort & Spa in the Delhi NCR region, adding 158 keys to its growing portfolio in India. The newly launched property is positioned as an urban resort located close to the national capital and is aimed at serving a mix of leisure travellers, destination weddings, social celebrations and corporate events.


Marriott International stated that the opening reflects its strategy of strengthening its footprint in high-growth, urban-adjacent markets where demand for resort-style hospitality continues to rise. According to the company, the Aravali Marriott Resort & Spa has been designed to offer versatile experiences that can cater to leisure stays as well as business and event-led travel, supported by its proximity to Delhi and surrounding urban centres.

The company highlighted that the addition of the Aravali resort reinforces its broader expansion plans in India, where branded hospitality players are increasingly targeting destinations near major cities to capture weekend leisure demand and large-format events. Separately, Eco Hotels and Resorts has announced the signing of its first boutique hospitality project in Udaipur, Rajasthan. The company said the upcoming property, Eco Boutique Udaipur, will comprise 20 keys and represents its entry into the boutique hotel segment. The development is part of Eco Hotels strategy to expand its presence in high-growth markets while maintaining its focus on sustainability and operational efficiency.

Eco Hotels and Resorts stated that the Udaipur property is intended to offer a refined hospitality experience that reflects the cultural heritage and natural surroundings of the region. The company emphasised that sustainability, guest comfort and operational excellence remain central to its development approach, even as it diversifies into smaller-format boutique properties.

The Udaipur hotel is scheduled to open later this year and will add to the company's portfolio of environmentally conscious hospitality assets. Udaipur continues to attract interest from hotel operators due to its strong leisure demand, wedding tourism and positioning as a premium cultural destination in Rajasthan.
