Brigade Enterprises has acquired a 2.25-acre land parcel in Secunderabad to develop a new residential project, according to a regulatory filing made recently. The Bengaluru-based real estate developer stated that the project is expected to generate an estimated revenue of around INR 650 crore once completed.
The company confirmed that it has signed an agreement to acquire the prime land parcel but did not disclose the transaction value or commercial terms of the acquisition. The planned housing project is estimated to have a Gross Development Value of approximately INR 650 crore, indicating a mid-to-large scale residential development in the Secunderabad micro-market.
Secunderabad has seen steady residential demand in recent years, supported by improved connectivity, proximity to employment hubs, and growing social infrastructure. Brigade's move aligns with its strategy of expanding its residential footprint in key southern cities, including Hyderabad, where the company already has a presence through earlier developments.
Founded in 1986, Brigade Enterprises is among India's established real estate developers. Over the past four decades, the company has developed residential, commercial, retail, and hospitality projects across cities such as Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Mysuru, Kochi, Thiruvananthapuram, and GIFT City. The latest land acquisition adds to its ongoing pipeline of residential projects across major urban markets.
