Platzer Fastigheter Holding AB has entered into a long-term leasing agreement for office space in Gamlestaden, strengthening its presence in one of Gothenburg's key commercial districts. The company has signed an eight-year lease covering around 3,300 square metres, according to information shared by the company in the past week.
The total value of the contract is estimated at about SEK 73 million over the lease period. While the tenant's name has not been disclosed, the length and size of the agreement point to stable demand for well-located commercial space in the area.
Gamlestaden has been undergoing steady redevelopment in recent years, with a focus on mixed-use projects, improved infrastructure, and better connectivity to central Gothenburg. Platzer has been an active owner and developer in the city, with a portfolio largely concentrated in commercial properties such as offices, logistics assets, and industrial buildings.
The latest lease adds to Platzer's existing rental base and supports predictable cash flows over the medium to long term. Long-duration leases are typically viewed as reducing vacancy risk, particularly in markets facing economic uncertainty and cautious corporate expansion.
