According to investors, India's home improvement and hardware sector remains largely fragmented, with limited presence of organised brands addressing mid-segment consumer needs. Kanika Agarwal, partner at India Quotient, said the kitchen and bathroom fittings category offers significant potential for new brands that prioritise functionality and thoughtful design, noting that a divide persists between low-cost offerings and expensive global products. Sprout Venture Partners Sahil Gupta added that growing urban demand for premium and smart home solutions presents opportunities for focused brands with strong product strategies.

Lorazzo plans to deploy the newly raised capital to accelerate product development, bolster its design and technology capabilities, and scale its distribution footprint across both digital and physical sales channels. The funding will support broader go-to-market efforts as the company seeks to enhance its presence in India's evolving home improvement market.

The seed investment aligns with broader trends in Indian consumer startup funding, where early-stage capital is increasingly directed at product-led companies that address everyday needs with differentiated offerings.
