Mumbai-based real estate developer Arkade Developers has unveiled plans to launch five new residential projects across the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR) in calendar year 2026, with a combined gross revenue potential exceeding INR 3,700 crore, according to the company's announcement. The projects are expected to span key micro-markets including Goregaon, Thane, Borivali, Malad and Santacruz and will be backed by an investment of around INR 2,500 crore. Arkade said the broader real estate market outlook remains positive amid a softening interest rate environment and improving homebuyer sentiment. In addition to the five planned launches, the developer also noted ongoing execution momentum, with two additional occupation certificates targeted in the current quarter. The projected launches reflect the company's focus on premium residential developments and its continued expansion across Mumbai's core and suburban corridors.
Mumbai-based Arkade Developers Ltd has announced its intention to roll out a slate of five new residential projects across the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR) in calendar year 2026, with a combined revenue potential estimated at over INR 3,700 crore. The company plans to invest approximately INR 2,500 crore in the development of these projects, which will span several key micro-markets across the region, signalling an expanded growth push within one of India's largest housing markets.
The planned launches will be concentrated across Goregaon, Thane, Borivali, Malad and Santacruz, markets that have continued to attract strong residential demand. Arkade's announcement underlined that the broader market outlook remains supportive, with easing interest rates and more affordable home loan EMIs contributing to improved sentiment among potential buyers. This environment, the developer said, could help bolster absorption for new launches across price segments.
The company also highlighted its execution momentum, noting that it is targeting two additional occupation certificates (OCs) in the current quarter, which are expected to support delivery timelines and strengthen its project pipeline. Arkade said it remains focused on delivering premium residential offerings that cater to end-users and long-term investors alike, leveraging its local understanding of the MMR property landscape.
Among the upcoming projects is a luxury residential development on the historic Filmistan Studio land in Goregaon, which is being redeveloped into high-end housing featuring 3- and 4-BHK apartments with substantial revenue prospects. A reported strategic land acquisition in Thane a 6.28-acre parcel secured for INR 172 crore further supports the company's expanded footprint across high-potential micro-markets.
Arkade's planned launches reflect a broader trend of renewed developer confidence in the MMR housing segment following a period of measured normalisation in sales activity. By aligning project launches with improving buyer sentiment and sustained long-term demand prospects, the developer aims to strengthen its presence in both core and emerging residential corridors.
