E to E Transportation Infrastructure has secured a contract of INR 27.35 crore from South East Central Railway (SECR) for signalling and telecommunication works on the fourth railway line between Durg and Durg Link Block stations. The company has been tasked with completing the work over the next 18 months.
Under this contract, E to E Transportation will install comprehensive signalling systems, telecommunication networks, and provide a Distributed Electronic Interlocking system at Durg station, which will be integrated with Durg Link Block in the Raipur Division. The installation aims to improve operational efficiency and safety on this busy rail corridor.
The company is required to provide a performance guarantee of 5% of the contract value, amounting to INR 1.37 crore, within the stipulated timeframe following the award. The contract was awarded through a competitive bidding process by a domestic government entity and is not considered a related party transaction, according to regulatory disclosures.
This contract win follows E to E Transportation Infrastructure's listing on the National Stock Exchange's SME platform. The company's shares opened at INR 330.60 per share, roughly 90% above the issue price of INR 174, reflecting strong investor interest. The IPO, which was heavily subscribed last year, provided the company with additional capital for expansion and project execution.
The fourth line project forms part of Indian Railways ongoing efforts to modernise its infrastructure, expand capacity, and improve safety. The installation of advanced signalling and telecommunication systems, along with electronic interlocking, is aimed at reducing operational risks and enhancing efficiency. Previously, similar projects have helped railways replace older mechanical systems with modern electronic solutions to support growing traffic demands.
