Sobha Ltd reported a sharp 52 per cent rise in sales bookings to INR 2,115.2 crore in the third quarter of the current financial year, supported by higher sales volumes and improved price realisation amid sustained housing demand. The Bengaluru-based developer achieved its highest-ever quarterly sales value, driven largely by strong performance in its core markets, particularly Bengaluru and Delhi-NCR. Sales volumes grew significantly year-on-year, while average prices also moved up, reflecting continued buyer preference for quality housing. The robust quarterly performance helped the company post strong cumulative growth in sales bookings during the first nine months of FY26, underscoring positive market momentum.
Real estate developer Sobha Ltd has reported a robust 52 per cent year-on-year increase in sales bookings to INR 2,115.2 crore during the October-December quarter of the current financial year, marking its highest-ever quarterly sales performance. The strong growth was supported by a combination of higher sales volumes and improved price realisation, reflecting sustained demand for residential properties in key urban markets.
In the corresponding quarter of the previous year, the company had recorded sales bookings of INR 1,388.6 crore. During the third quarter of FY26, Sobha sold a total area of 1.37 million square feet, compared with about 1.02 million square feet in the year-ago period. Average price realisation also improved notably, rising to INR 15,436 per square foot from INR 13,663 per square foot, indicating steady pricing power and buyer confidence.
Bengaluru continued to be the company's largest contributor, accounting for sales worth INR 1,512 crore during the quarter. The Delhi-NCR market also delivered a strong performance, with sales bookings of INR 349 crore, highlighting the company's growing traction beyond its traditional southern markets.
For the first nine months of FY26, Sobha Ltd recorded sales bookings of INR 6,096.7 crore, representing a 37 per cent increase compared with INR 4,440.8 crore in the same period of the previous financial year. This steady growth underscores consistent demand across project portfolios despite broader market fluctuations.
In the full FY25, the company had posted sales bookings of INR 6,276.5 crore, with total volumes of nearly 4.68 million square feet. Sobha Ltd currently operates across 13 cities in India and has recently expanded its presence to Mumbai, strengthening its pan-India footprint.
While overall housing sales across major cities saw moderation during the quarter, Sobha's strong performance highlights the continued preference for well-established developers offering quality projects, timely execution, and premium specifications, positioning the company well for sustained growth in the coming quarters.
