Hazoor Multi Projects Ltd (HMPL) has received two new work orders from the National Highways Authority of India through an e-tender process this past week. The contracts, valued together at INR 277.40 crore, cover the collection of user fees at designated highway fee plazas in Tamil Nadu and Maharashtra. The scope of work also includes the upkeep and maintenance of blocks located around these plazas.
The company informed the exchanges that both projects fall under the highway operations and maintenance category, an area where HMPL has been building a steady presence. In recent years, the firm has undertaken several infrastructure assignments, mainly road construction and related services on an engineering, procurement and construction basis.
HMPL, which also operates in the renewable energy sector, continues to broaden its portfolio by taking on operational highway responsibilities in addition to EPC work. The latest orders mark another step in strengthening its footprint across national highway corridors.
