KEC International secures INR 1,102 crore orders across multiple infrastructure sectors

Synopsis

KEC International, part of the RPG Group, has won new orders worth INR 1,102 crore spanning civil, transportation, transmission and distribution (T&D), and cables and conductors businesses. The orders include civil and structural works for a 150 MW thermal power plant in India, railway safety systems under the Kavach initiative, and supply contracts in the Americas and Middle East. These wins reflect the company's growing domestic and international presence. Its year-to-date order intake now totals INR 12,800 crore, reinforcing its position in key infrastructure sectors.

KEC International, a global infrastructure EPC major and a part of the RPG Group, recently announced securing new orders totaling INR 1,102 crore across its civil, transportation, transmission and distribution (T&D), and cables and conductors businesses. The orders cover projects in both domestic and international markets, showing the company's growing diversification and strengthening its footprint in critical infrastructure sectors.


In the civil segment, KEC International received a contract for civil and structural works of a 150 MW thermal power plant from a leading private client in India. This project expands the company's presence in the power sector and buildings and factories segment, adding a reputed client to its portfolio.

The transportation business continues to gain momentum through contracts in the Train Collision Avoidance System (TCAS) under India's Kavach initiative. These projects aim to enhance Indian Railways' safety by implementing advanced technology.

In the T&D sector, the company secured supply orders for towers, hardware, and poles in the Americas and the Middle East. Meanwhile, the cables and conductors business won contracts for supplying various types of cables and conductors in both domestic and international markets, strengthening KEC International's global presence.

Vimal Kejriwal, MD & CEO of KEC International, highlighted that with these orders, the year-to-date intake has reached INR 12,800 crore. The company remains focused on delivering high-quality projects and leveraging its expertise across multiple infrastructure sectors.
