L&T's Buildings & Factories division has secured major contracts for two key projects in India: a 5.9 million sq ft IT park in Bengaluru and a mixed-use development in Mumbai. The Bengaluru project, valued between INR 5,000 crore and INR 10,000 crore, will be delivered in two phases on a lump sum turnkey basis, while the Mumbai project is planned for completion within 45 months. These orders underscore L&T's expertise in executing large and complex office and mixed-use developments efficiently, reinforcing its reputation as a trusted construction partner for high-value projects.
Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has announced that its Buildings & Factories (B&F) vertical has recently secured significant orders in India. In a regulatory filing, the company revealed that the B&F division has won a contract for one of the largest planned IT parks in Bengaluru, covering a development area of 5.9 million square feet.
The order is classified as 'major' by L&T, with an estimated value ranging between INR 5,000 crore and INR 10,000 crore. The company has not disclosed the client for this project. It will be executed on a lump sum turnkey basis and delivered in two phases. According to the filing, this contract reinforces L&T's reputation for handling complex, large-scale office space projects within strict timelines.
In addition to Bengaluru, the B&F vertical has secured another contract to develop a mixed-use project in Mumbai, which is expected to be completed within 45 months. These wins further strengthen L&T's position as a leading player in India's construction sector, highlighting its ability to manage multiple large-scale projects simultaneously.
