Synopsis

NBCC (India) Ltd, a government-owned construction and project management firm, has secured a major contract worth nearly INR 103 crore from the Lokpal of India. The project involves comprehensive infrastructure work including repairs, retrofitting, and interior upgrades for Lokpal's office located in Vasant Kunj, South Delhi. The work order was formalized under a new agreement signed between both entities earlier this week. The project cost, excluding GST, is pegged at INR 102.97 crore.

NBCC (India) Ltd has been awarded a fresh contract by the Lokpal of India for undertaking extensive repair and retrofitting works at its office in South Delhi's Vasant Kunj area. As per a regulatory filing issued earlier this week, the work includes complete interior fit-outs and upgradation of the existing infrastructure and services for the Lokpal office premises.

The agreement between NBCC and Lokpal was executed at the beginning of this week. The total contract value has been finalized at INR 102.97 crore, excluding applicable GST charges.

This project adds to NBCC's growing portfolio of government infrastructure assignments. The company, which operates under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, specializes in project management consultancy (PMC), civil construction, and real estate development. Over the years, NBCC has undertaken high-profile assignments for government institutions, including redevelopment projects in Delhi's Central Vista and other urban renewal initiatives across India.

The Lokpal, India's apex anti-corruption ombudsman, has been progressively enhancing its institutional infrastructure since its establishment. The upcoming renovation of its office is aimed at modernizing operational efficiency and improving service delivery.
