Synopsis

Markolines Pavement Technologies, a Mumbai-based highway solutions company, has secured a significant INR 100 crore order from Trans Metalite India for road maintenance in Andhra Pradesh. The five-year contract involves patch repair works, solidifying Markolines' position in the infrastructure sector. This latest win, coupled with other recent contracts valued at nearly INR 97.47 crore, boosts the company's unexecuted order book to over INR 400 crore. The new order highlights a growing focus on the maintenance and rehabilitation of existing road networks, a crucial aspect of India's continued infrastructure push.

Highway infrastructure solutions provider Markolines Pavement Technologies announced on Wednesday that it has secured a significant INR 100 crore contract from Trans Metalite India Ltd. The contract, which focuses on patch repair works across various roads in Andhra Pradesh, will be executed over a period of five years. This win is a major boost for the Mumbai-headquartered company, which specializes in highway operations and maintenance.

The new order is part of a broader trend of contract wins for Markolines. The company has received multiple orders in the current fiscal year totaling nearly INR 97.47 crore, including two repeat orders from Varanasi Aurangabad NH-2 Tollway Private Ltd. This robust performance has strengthened the company's order book, which now stands at over INR 400 crore of unexecuted projects, expected to translate into revenue over the next 12-24 months.

Trans Metalite India Ltd., the client for this new project, is a company that provides a range of services related to road marking and surfacing. The partnership with Markolines for this long-term maintenance contract in Andhra Pradesh underscores the increasing importance of specialized maintenance services to ensure the longevity and safety of India's expanding highway network. Sanjay Patil, Founder and Chairman & MD of Markolines, stated that the strength of the company's order book is a "reflection of the faith our clients have in us" and that he expects it to expand further with the continued push on infrastructure development.
