Synopsis

Pune-based Mont Vert Group has signed a USD 500 million (approx. INR 4,300 crore) agreement with Kazakhstan's Big B Corporation to develop a state-of-the-art medical university and a multi-specialty hospital in Kazakhstan. The announcement took place during SRAM & MRAM Group's 30th anniversary in London. The project is a joint effort involving SRAM & MRAM Group, Big B Corporation, and KAZIND Medical Group, with Mont Vert Group leading the construction. The Kazakh government has already allocated significant land parcels for the project in Astana and Almaty.

Mont Vert Group, a reputed real estate developer based in Pune, entered into an international agreement worth USD 500 million (approximately INR 4,300 crore) with Kazakhstan's Big B Corporation to construct a medical university and a large-scale multi-specialty hospital in the Central Asian nation.

The formal announcement was made during the 30th anniversary event of SRAM & MRAM Group, held at Raven's Ait Private Island in London. The gathering witnessed the presence of several prominent personalities including Mont Vert Group's Chairman Jayantilal Kaneria, Managing Director Neeraj Kaneria, Director of Big B Corporation Ajay Bhandari, and SRAM & MRAM Group's Directors Mahendra Joshi, Nitin Gupta, and Dr. Swapnil Kamble.

According to an official press release from the UK-headquartered SRAM & MRAM Group, Mont Vert Group has been entrusted with the execution and development of the entire project. This privately led healthcare development is being undertaken collaboratively by SRAM & MRAM Group, Big B Corporation, and the Kazakhstan-based KAZIND Medical Group.

The agreement was reportedly facilitated through the dedicated efforts of Ajay Bhandari from Big B Corporation and Mahendra Joshi of SRAM & MRAM Group. The Kazakh authorities had previously allocated 243 hectares of land in Astana and an additional 100 hectares in Almaty for this venture during the past year. The proposed facility will comprise a medical college capable of housing 10,000 students alongside a multi-specialty hospital with 1,000 beds.

Mont Vert Group has earned recognition in Pune's real estate sector by delivering over 6.8 million square feet of residential and commercial spaces. With over three decades of industry experience, Chairman Jayantilal Kaneria and Managing Director Neeraj Kaneria continue to steer the company's success in both national and now international territories.

Sailesh Lachu Hiranandani, Chairman of SRAM & MRAM Group, remarked that Mont Vert Group symbolised the peak of quality in Indian real estate and that its proven expertise made it the ideal partner for such a global healthcare initiative.

With land approvals in place and leadership from seasoned industry veterans, the project is set to make a significant impact in Kazakhstan's healthcare and education sectors while also positioning Indian developers as global infrastructure partners.
