Les Rivages de Almuñécar, a colossal vertical art mural commissioned by French luxury property development company Les Rivages, is nearing its final stage of completion at 80% progress. Created by artist José Ríos, the mural spans across three 12-story buildings in the Velilla area of Almuñécar, Spain, covering over 6,000 square meters. Once finished, it will be the largest vertical mural in Europe. The mural is part of the environmentally sustainable Le Grand Large development, featuring 15 luxurious villas with complete energy self-sufficiency. Les Rivages, also known as Remisol Invest, has been successfully developing and managing properties along the Costa del Sol and Costa Tropical for over a decade.
The impressive Les Rivages de Almuñécar, a vertical art mural of significant scale, is currently making rapid progress and is nearing its final stage of completion at 80%. This mural project was commissioned by the renowned French luxury property development company, Les Rivages, and aims to establish an environmentally sustainable housing development on the Costa Tropical in Granada province. It is expected to be fully finished in the first half of July.

Created by the renowned artist José Ríos, the mural spans across three buildings, each 12 stories high, covering a total area exceeding 6,000 square metres in the Velilla area. Once completed, it will claim the title of the largest vertical mural not just in Spain but also in Europe.
The mural's design concept focuses on generating a sense of transparency and concealing the massive structures. Already, some distinctive elements of the artwork are visible, including the figure. The mural includes elements such as the image of a dog strolling along the shoreline, the outline of a woman, the rhythmic waves of the sea, and the glistening golden sand.
Les Rivages has seamlessly incorporated this mural into the Le Grand Large development, a collection of 15 luxurious villas situated in the Velilla area of Almuñécar. This development has gained distinction as one of the first fully sustainable projects on the Costa Tropical, with complete energy self-sufficiency.
The construction of the Le Grand Large villas is entrusted to the Añil company, and they are anticipated to be fully finished by spring 2024. Through this project, Les Rivages is solidifying its forward-thinking and environmentally conscious vision for Almuñécar.
