Synopsis

The Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) has increased discounts on flat purchases to boost sales. Now, buyers can get INR 1.5 lakh off on flats priced up to INR 45 lakh, and INR 2 lakh off on flats priced above INR 45 lakh. The offer is valid till June 30 on a first-come, first-serve basis. The discounts apply to various LDA housing schemes across Lucknow, including areas like Kanpur Road, Shardanagar, Jankipuram, and Adra. LDA has also hired private real estate brokers to help sell unsold flats. The scheme was first launched last October and has now been revised again.

To increase the sale of flats, the Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) has raised the discount amounts on its housing schemes. Buyers can now get up to INR 2 lakh off on flat purchases. The revised offer is valid until June 30 and will be given on a first-come, first-serve basis.

According to the new discount structure introduced by the Lucknow Development Authority (LDA), buyers can now get higher concessions on the purchase of flats. Flats that are priced up to INR 45 lakh will be eligible for a discount of INR 1.5 lakh. Meanwhile, those priced above INR 45 lakh will receive a discount of INR 2 lakh.

Earlier, the discount amounts for these two categories were INR 1 lakh and INR 1.5 lakh, respectively. This means the LDA has increased the discount by INR 50,000 for both price ranges in an effort to make the offer more attractive to potential homebuyers.

The discounted flats are available under several housing schemes spread across different parts of Lucknow. These include Sopana Enclave Apartment located in Priyadarshini Yojana, Adra, and Ratan Lok Apartments situated in the Shardanagar area.

Other options include Ashlesha, Shravan, Magha, Margashirsha, Sunrise, and Purva Apartments, all of which are located along Kanpur Road. Additionally, Smriti Apartment in Jankipuram is also part of the discount offer.

According to the Lucknow Development Authority, these locations are well-connected and considered desirable, offering buyers a range of options in prime areas of the city.

A senior official from LDA said that the aim is to make homes more affordable and to speed up the allotment process. The authority hopes that the increased discount will attract more buyers and help reduce the number of unsold flats.

To further boost sales, LDA is also bringing in private real estate dealers and brokers. These agents will work on a commission basis to help promote and sell the flats more actively.

The discount scheme was first launched in October last year as part of LDA's golden jubilee celebrations. It was originally supposed to last for three months. However, due to a limited response from buyers, the scheme was extended till March.

Even after the extension, the sales were not as strong as expected. This led the LDA to revise the discounts again and make the offer more attractive.

Now, with increased discounts and new selling strategies, LDA is hopeful that the situation will improve and more people will take advantage of the offer before the June 30 deadline.
