Maharashtra's Minister of State for Housing, Dr. Pankaj Bhoyar, recently visited MHADA's headquarters in Bandra East to review the progress of its 100-day action plan. During the visit, he assessed a special cleanliness and record classification drive and inspected various offices. He also reviewed ongoing projects like the Citizen Facilitation Centre and Visitor Management System aimed at improving administrative efficiency and citizen services. MHADA's Vice President, Mr. Sanjeev Jaiswal, highlighted initiatives such as the e-office system and website upgrades, reflecting MHADA's commitment to modernising operations and enhancing service delivery.

The visit was part of his efforts to evaluate the implementation and progress of MHADA's ambitious 100-day action plan, aimed at improving administrative efficiency and enhancing citizen services. As part of his visit, Dr. Bhoyar reviewed the outcomes of a two-day special cleanliness and record classification drive carried out across the MHADA headquarters. This initiative was designed to ensure that the office environment was not only clean but also well-organised, with an emphasis on sorting and categorising records to improve accessibility and streamline processes. Dr. Bhoyar personally inspected various offices within the headquarters to assess the practical implementation of these measures.
Dr. Bhoyar expressed his appreciation for the steps undertaken under the action plan and commended the dedication of MHADA employees. He stressed the importance of maintaining high standards of cleanliness as a routine practice, highlighting how a well-maintained office environment directly impacts productivity and creates a positive work culture. Additionally, he underscored the necessity of regularly classifying and organising records to enhance operational efficiency and reduce delays in service delivery.
The Minister also took the opportunity to evaluate the progress of other key projects being implemented at the MHADA headquarters. These included the development of a Citizen Facilitation Centre, which aims to simplify access to services for the public, and the rollout of a Visitor Management System to streamline visitor interactions and improve security. Both initiatives are intended to modernise MHADA's operations and enhance the overall experience for citizens.
Accompanying the Minister during his visit were MHADA's Vice President and CEO, Mr. Sanjeev Jaiswal (IAS), and Secretary, Mrs. Neelima Dhaigude, along with other senior officials. Mr. Jaiswal shared insights into MHADA's comprehensive efforts to execute the 100-day action plan across its regional offices in Mumbai and throughout Maharashtra. He emphasised that the cleanliness and record classification drive was a significant component of this plan and had already yielded positive results by making administrative processes more efficient.
In addition to the physical improvements, Mr. Jaiswal highlighted MHADA's strides toward digital transformation. He explained that an e-office system has been introduced to promote paperless administration, a move that aligns with the government's broader goals of sustainability and technological integration. This system aims to minimise paperwork, enhance document tracking, and facilitate seamless communication among departments.
