Additionally, Bharat Petroleum acquired a fuel station plot for INR 12.2 crore. With investments exceeding INR 200 crore, these deals reflect strong investor confidence in the region's hospitality and commercial growth ahead of the airport's opening, positioning Noida as a key business and tourism hub.

The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) recently held successful auctions for several hotel plots near the Noida International Airport. This move is part of a broader strategy to enhance infrastructure and tourism in the region.

The auction featured plots ranging from 3,400 to 4,000 square meters in Sector 29. The highest bid reached INR 31 crore, significantly exceeding the reserve price. Equasocio Digital Technologies secured a 4,000-sqm plot for INR 31 crore, which is INR 5 crore above the initial reserve price of INR 26 crore. Other notable bids included two 3,400-sqm plots sold to Balaji Enterprises and Ranchor Infra Developers for INR 23 crore each, surpassing their reserve price of INR 22 crore. Net2Source Consulting also made headlines by winning a 3,400-sqm plot for INR 29 crore, well above its reserve price of INR 23 crore.

Overall, the YEIDA generated INR 106 crore from these auctions, which is about 12% more than the combined reserve price of INR 94 crore. This influx of funds is expected to drive further development in the area, with anticipated total investments exceeding INR 200 crore. The successful auction reflects growing investor confidence in the region, particularly with the upcoming Noida International Airport set to boost economic activity.

In addition to the hotel plots, a 2,100-sqm site was allocated for a fuel station in Sector 18 to Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd for INR 12.2 crore. This is part of YEIDA's ongoing efforts to improve transportation and support services around the airport, which is expected to handle millions of passengers annually.

The e-auctions were conducted on Thursday, with the hotel plot scheme launched in December last year. It offered a total of 12 plots, ranging from 3,100 sqm to 20,000 sqm, to attract investments in the hospitality sector. The fuel station plot scheme, introduced in November, included two plots of 2,100 sqm and 1,600 sqm, aimed at ensuring adequate refueling options for travelers.

As the Noida International Airport prepares to open, the demand for hospitality and related services is likely to rise. The YEIDA's proactive approach in auctioning these plots indicates a strategic move to capitalize on this anticipated growth. With the successful bids, stakeholders are optimistic about the future of the region, expecting it to become a hub for both tourism and business.

In conclusion, the recent auctions by YEIDA not only highlight the growing interest in the Noida region but also signal a commitment to developing necessary infrastructure in anticipation of the airport's opening. As these projects progress, they will play a crucial role in shaping the economic landscape of the area, providing jobs and enhancing local services.
