The reinstatement of invalidated ration cards and ensuring benefits for financially vulnerable households are among the other initiatives mentioned by the Chief Minister.

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar recently made significant announcements regarding the regularization of unauthorized colonies and a property identification correction campaign, aiming to provide convenience and welfare to the people of the state.

During a public gathering in Karnal's Ward IV, CM Khattar stated that unauthorized colonies with streets wider than 3 meters and main roads wider than 6 meters would be regularized. This move is expected to bring relief to the residents of these colonies, as their settlements will now be legally recognized, ensuring access to various amenities and infrastructure developments.

In addition to regularizing the colonies, the government plans to formulate a comprehensive strategy to provide essential facilities to these settlements. This initiative reflects the administration's commitment to improving the quality of life for the residents of unauthorized colonies by addressing their basic needs, such as water supply, electricity, sewage systems, and road connectivity.

Furthermore, CM Khattar highlighted the launch of a special campaign aimed at correcting property identification details. To ensure smooth implementation, the government has assigned two employees to each municipal council (MC) and municipal corporation (MC) office. These dedicated personnel will assist individuals in rectifying any errors or discrepancies related to property identification. This proactive measure aims to streamline the process and provide convenience to citizens dealing with property-related matters.

In parallel, the state government is undertaking a comprehensive survey to collect data on each family residing in Haryana. The survey covers crucial information such as the total number of family members, unemployed individuals, and senior citizens. By obtaining this data, the government aims to design and implement welfare schemes that cater to the specific needs of each beneficiary, ensuring that social support reaches those who require it the most.

Under the Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP) initiative, Haryana has achieved a significant milestone by issuing approximately 12.5 lakh ration cards. CM Khattar emphasized that ration cards wrongly invalidated due to various reasons would be reinstated in the appropriate category, ensuring that affected individuals regain their rightful access to essential food supplies. To expedite this process, he urged ward councillors to compile a list of those affected in their respective areas and submit it to the office of the additional deputy commissioner for prompt action.

The CM also directed officials to ensure that families with an annual income of less than 1.8 lakh receive the entitled benefits from various government schemes. This measure aims to provide targeted assistance to financially vulnerable households and uplift them through appropriate support systems.

During the public gathering, CM Khattar expressed his condolences and observed a two-minute silence to mourn the lives lost in a recent train accident in Odisha. This gesture highlights his empathetic approach and solidarity with those affected by such unfortunate incidents.
