Authorities have prepared a master plan for 2041 to meet rising land demand. Of the acquired land, 1,040 hectares will support industrial expansion, while 178 hectares will house a logistics park. These initiatives reflect the government's commitment to economic growth, attracting investments, and positioning Uttar Pradesh as a pivotal hub for trade, commerce, and infrastructure development.

In the latest infrastructure news, the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has initiated plans to acquire 5,000 hectares of land near the forthcoming international airport at Jewar, aiming to stimulate real estate growth in the region. Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi, Uttar Pradesh's minister for industrial development, highlighted the project's significance, stating that the airport is expected to become operational later this year.

The state government is actively implementing multiple infrastructure projects in the area, including a film city, a medical device park, a logistics park, and a data campus park. With Asia's largest airport taking shape in Uttar Pradesh, the administration is committed to leveraging its potential to drive statewide economic activity. The Yamuna authority has already formulated a comprehensive development strategy and commenced land allocation for various ventures. Additional land acquisition will ensure a structured and uninterrupted expansion of the region's industrial landscape.

In a strategic move last year, the Yamuna authority agreed upon a concession agreement with Bayview Bhutani Film City, a special purpose vehicle (SPV) designated to establish a state-of-the-art film city in Noida. The project is expected to position Uttar Pradesh as a prime destination for the entertainment industry while boosting ancillary businesses.

Nandi stated that the Jewar International Airport represents a transformative initiative for Uttar Pradesh and the broader northern region, serving as a critical driver for industrial and logistics sector growth. The state government has already observed a surge in demand for various land parcels, necessitating a proactive approach to land acquisition. In response, authorities have devised a draft master plan for 2041, which outlines the structured expansion of 5,000 hectares surrounding the airport. This initiative aligns with the state's vision to create a thriving economic hub.

Of the total land earmarked, approximately 1,040 hectares will be dedicated to industrial development, ensuring the establishment of new manufacturing units and commercial enterprises. Additionally, 178 hectares will be designated for a logistics park, reinforcing the region's status as a crucial trade and transportation venue. These initiatives collectively point out the government's commitment to fostering large-scale economic expansion, attracting investments, and positioning Uttar Pradesh as a major economic powerhouse.
