Last week, music sensation Rihanna put one of her homes in the Los Angeles area up for sale for $10.5 million. The 35-year-old singer and businesswoman purchased the 5,100-square-foot house in the Beverly Hills Post Office neighbourhood in March 2021 for $10 million, as reported by Mansion Global. According to Property Shark records, she also owns the adjacent property, which she bought for $13.75 million in 2020.
The listing describes the property as situated close to the lively centre of Beverly Hills and located on a prestigious street in the BHPO area. It emphasizes the estate’s expansive nature, concealed behind a gated entrance and mature landscaping, providing an elegant retreat away from the street. Additionally, being positioned on a quiet cul-de-sac, it offers a high level of privacy.
According to records, Rihanna acquired both properties using trusts associated with Evan Jehle, who is a partner at FFO, a business management company based in New York. Jehle also serves as a member of the Global Advisory Board for Rihanna’s Clara Lionel Foundation.
The listing states that the house, constructed in 1939, showcases wood and stone flooring, as well as beamed cathedral ceilings in the living room and original fireplaces. It boasts a chef’s kitchen with a cozy breakfast nook, a family room that connects to the backyard through French doors, and a dining room that leads to a covered outdoor seating area.
Furthermore, the property includes a separate guest house with one bedroom, along with a kitchenette and office space. The outdoor area features a pool encompassed by well-maintained lawns, a half basketball court, a vegetable garden, and multiple spaces for dining and relaxation.
