One major focus of the operation was a public park in Southern Paradise, also known as Sri Sampath Nagar. Residents reported that this 998-square-yard park had been unlawfully claimed by private individuals. Following an inspection, HYDRAA confirmed the encroachment and took action by removing illegal fences and structures that had been erected within the park. This move aims to restore the park for public use and ensure that community spaces remain accessible to all.
In addition to the park issue, another complaint led HYDRAA to investigate a 33-foot-wide road in Captain Town-2 Colony, located in Ootpally village. The agency found that unauthorized constructions were obstructing this road, which is vital for local traffic. After verifying the claims, officials promptly demolished the structures, reaffirming the importance of maintaining clear and accessible roadways for residents.
HYDRAA's actions are part of a broader initiative to tackle unauthorized land occupation across Hyderabad.
