The JBS to Shameerpet corridor will pass through areas like Vikrampuri and Kharkhana, linking vital neighborhoods and improving access for commuters.
The Chief Minister emphasised the need for rapid progress, instructing the Hyderabad Airport Metro Limited (HAML) to complete the DPRs within three months. Once prepared, these reports will be submitted to the Central government for approval. This project is part of the larger Metro Rail Phase-2 initiative, which aims to enhance public transport infrastructure in Hyderabad and its surrounding regions.
The expansion of the Metro network is particularly crucial as the population in North Hyderabad continues to grow.
