Ashiana Housing has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to develop a senior-living-project on approximately 12.5 acres along Kanakpura Road, Harohalli, Karnataka. The project, entered with three land-owning individuals, will feature an estimated saleable-area of 11 lakh square feet, with a joint development agreement anticipated within six months. Additionally, Ashiana Housing has agreed to lease 20 acres in the social infrastructure zone of Mahindra World City, Jaipur, for a group housing project. This development, with Mahindra World City (Jaipur), has an estimated saleable area of 20 lakh square feet, and a lease deed will be finalised within 90 days.
Ashiana Housing has taken significant steps to expand its presence in the senior living and group housing market by securing two large-scale projects in Karnataka and Rajasthan. The New Delhi-based real estate company has entered into two separate agreements for the development of these residential spaces, each catering to different housing needs.
In Karnataka, Ashiana Housing has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to develop a senior living project on approximately 12.5 acres of land along Kanakpura Road, Harohalli. This agreement has been established with three land-owning individuals who have consented to collaborate with the company on this venture. The proposed project is expected to feature an estimated saleable area of around 11 lakh square feet, which will likely provide ample space for residential units and associated amenities tailored specifically to senior living.
The project will proceed with the execution of a joint development agreement, which Ashiana Housing plans to finalise within the next six months. This senior living project is intended to address the growing demand for dedicated senior housing facilities, focusing on creating a comfortable, accessible, and community-driven environment that meets the unique needs of an ageing population.
Separately, Ashiana Housing has also entered into an agreement to lease a plot of land measuring around 20 acres within the social infrastructure zone of Mahindra World City, Jaipur. This area is earmarked for a group housing project, expanding Ashiana Housing's footprint in Jaipur, a city experiencing increasing demand for residential housing solutions. Mahindra World City, Jaipur, is an integrated business city designed to provide a balanced mix of commercial, residential, and social spaces, making it an ideal location for such a development. The proposed group housing project on this land is expected to encompass a saleable area of approximately 20 lakh square feet, offering significant capacity for residential units aimed at a broad demographic.
The agreement in Jaipur was signed with Mahindra World City (Jaipur) Limited, a partnership that aligns with Ashiana Housing's strategic objectives for growth in key regions. The lease deed for this project is slated to be completed within the next 90 days, allowing Ashiana to begin planning and development promptly.
Through these ventures, Ashiana Housing is poised to address diverse housing demands-both in senior living facilities and general residential spaces. The company's project on Kanakpura Road, Harohalli, will contribute to the growing trend of dedicated housing for seniors, while the project at Mahindra World City in Jaipur will cater to the broader needs of residents in a mixed-use urban environment. These developments underscore Ashiana Housing's commitment to expanding its portfolio with thoughtfully designed residential projects that cater to varying population segments in growing urban areas.
