The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has launched a new group housing scheme to promote residential development in the region. The scheme offers 20 plots spread across Sectors 17, 18, and 22D, with sizes ranging from 11,513.72 sqm to 89,034 sqm. In Sector 17, there are six plots, with sizes ranging from 11,513.72 sqm to 24,282 sqm, priced at a base rate of INR 32,375 per sqm. Sector 18 features five plots, each with a uniform size of 16,188 sqm, while Sector 22D offers the widest variety, with plots ranging from 20,235 sqm to 89,034 sqm.
The registration process for the scheme began last week and will continue until mid-December. Developers interested in the plots are required to submit an earnest money deposit (EMD) or registration fee, which varies between INR 3.73 crore and INR 30.27 crore, depending on the plot size. The plots will be allocated through an e-auction scheduled for the end of January, with a 1% incremental bid increase on the base price for each plot.
This initiative is expected to significantly boost residential growth in the region, with developers given the opportunity to secure large plots in a well-connected area. The varied plot sizes cater to a wide range of developers, while the base pricing provides an attractive entry point for future residential projects. The e-auction, scheduled for January, will add an element of competitiveness to the process, making it an exciting development for the real estate sector.
As this scheme progresses, the plots offered by YEIDA are expected to draw considerable interest from developers keen to capitalize on the growing demand for residential spaces in the region. The successful allocation of these plots could lead to a wave of new residential projects, further boosting the development of the Yamuna Expressway area. With ample opportunities for developers, YEIDA's scheme has the potential to significantly transform the local real estate landscape.
This move by YEIDA is likely to foster long-term growth in the region, enhancing residential infrastructure and making the area an even more desirable destination for homebuyers.
YEIDA's new housing scheme is set to drive residential development along the Yamuna Expressway. With a competitive e-auction and attractive pricing, this initiative offers significant growth opportunities for developers. Successful plot allocation is expected to fuel the area's transformation into a thriving residential hub.
