Notably, 17.5% of the plots are reserved for farmers. The township's strategic location near Film City and the MotoGP track enhances its appeal. With registrations surpassing 34,000 and a lottery scheduled for December 27, this initiative is set to transform the area's real estate and economic landscape.

The Uttar Pradesh government has taken a significant step towards promoting home ownership with the launch of a new township located just 15 minutes from the Jewar International Airport. This initiative, developed by the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA), is situated in Sector-24A of Noida, conveniently close to key landmarks such as the International Film City and the MotoGP track. The project aims to provide affordable housing options and stimulate economic growth in the region.

As part of this initiative, a total of 451 residential plots will be made available in various sizes, catering to a diverse range of buyers. The sizes include plots of 120 square metres, 162 square metres, 200 square metres, 250 square metres, and 260 square metres. Notably, 17.5% of these plots are reserved for farmers in the state, ensuring that local residents have access to housing opportunities. This move aligns with the government's broader goal of supporting agricultural communities and enhancing their quality of life.

The registration process for interested buyers has seen a robust response. As of now, 62,865 individuals have purchased brochures for the plots, and 34,180 have completed their registrations. The registration fee is set at INR 600, making it accessible for many prospective homeowners. The final date for registration was November 30, with a lottery draw scheduled for December 27 to allocate the plots. The cost of the plots is priced at INR 25,900 per square metre, which is competitive compared to other regions in the state.

This township project is not only about providing housing but also about fostering economic development in the area. The proximity to the Jewar International Airport is expected to attract businesses and boost job creation, providing a significant economic uplift to the region. The airport, which is set to become one of the largest in India, is anticipated to enhance connectivity and facilitate trade and tourism, further increasing the demand for residential and commercial properties nearby.

In addition to housing, the development is expected to include essential infrastructure and amenities, such as schools, healthcare facilities, and recreational areas. This holistic approach aims to create a vibrant community that meets the needs of its residents. The government's focus on developing such townships reflects a growing trend in urban planning, which emphasises sustainable living and integrated community spaces.

As the lottery date approaches, many hopeful buyers are eagerly anticipating the results. This project represents a significant opportunity for individuals and families looking to invest in their future and secure a place in a rapidly developing area. With the combination of strategic location, affordable pricing, and government support, this township could play a crucial role in shaping the real estate landscape of Uttar Pradesh in the coming years.
