Bollywood stars Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have leased a 2,319.50 sq. ft. apartment in Beau Monde Towers, Prabhadevi, Mumbai, for INR 7 lakh monthly rent, increasing to INR 7.35 lakh after 18 months, with a INR 21 lakh security deposit. This complements their growing real estate portfolio, which includes a INR 17.8 crore Bandra apartment and a record-breaking INR 119 crore Bandstand quadruplex. Their premium properties, featuring tailored designs and modern amenities, reflect a strategic investment in Mumbai's redeveloped and luxury housing market. The couple's real estate choices underline their focus on exclusivity, long-term value, and prime locations.
Bollywood power couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have leased an apartment in the Beau Monde Towers cooperative housing society in Prabhadevi, Mumbai. According to a media release by Square Yards, the monthly rent for the property is set at INR 7 lakh for the first 18 months, increasing to INR 7.35 lakh for the remaining 18 months of the 36-month lease. The couple has paid an initial security deposit of INR 21 lakh for the 2,319.50 sq. ft. apartment, which includes three dedicated parking spaces.
Deepika Padukone is already a property owner in the Beau Monde Towers, a project developed by the Ashwin Sheth Group. Known for its premium amenities, the property offers residents a gymnasium, a swimming pool, and advanced security systems. This lease arrangement adds to the couple's growing real estate portfolio, reflecting their continued preference for luxury living in Mumbai.
In addition to their rented apartment, Deepika and Ranveer have made notable property investments in Mumbai. Deepika's company, KA Enterprises LLP, recently purchased an 1,845 sq. ft. apartment in Sagar Resham, Bandra, for INR 17.8 crore. The property, located on the 15th floor, was procured with a stamp duty payment of INR 1.07 crore and a registration fee of INR 30,000. This is the couple's second acquisition in the building, which has undergone redevelopment by Nagpal Developers.
Earlier, the couple made headlines with the purchase of a INR 119 crore sea-facing quadruplex at Bandstand, Bandra, counted among the most expensive residential property deals in India. Spanning four floors-16th, 17th, 18th, and 19th-the property boasts a carpet area of 11,266 sq. ft., an exclusive terrace of 1,300 sq. ft., and 19 parking spaces. Situated near Bollywood stars Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan's homes, the property was bought through Oh Five Oh Media Works LLP, a firm where Ranveer Singh and his father are directors.
The quadruplex deal includes a customisation agreement with the developer, ensuring the interiors are tailored to the couple's preferences. The property's cost, at INR 1 lakh per sq. ft., underscores the premium nature of this transaction, which also involved a INR 7.13 crore stamp duty payment.
The couple's interest in Sagar Resham also highlights a growing trend of investing in redeveloped buildings. Originally registered in 1964, Sagar Resham underwent redevelopment to enhance its structural and aesthetic appeal. Such investments indicate the couple's strategic approach to acquiring properties with long-term value in Mumbai's competitive real estate market.
Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh's real estate moves are emblematic of their focus on luxury, exclusivity, and prime locations, cementing their status as one of Bollywood's most affluent and forward-thinking couples.
